NIMHANS is organizing a hands-on “Workshop on Integrative Approaches in Ethnopharmacology for Neuropsychiatric Diseases: From Natural Products to Rational Drug Discovery”, under MATHANAM (“Modern and Traditional Approaches in Pharmacotherapeutics in Neuroscience and Mental Health). The program is a biennial event under MATHANAM, jointly organized by the Departments of Biophysics, Clinical Psychopharmacology and Neurotoxicology (CPNT), and Integrative Medicine. The workshop would cover analysis of medicinal plants, proteomics, and rational drug discovery and development related to Neuropsychiatric diseases. Each participant will get hands-on experience in this program.

Eligible Participants:
PhD scholars, post-doctoral fellows, medical doctors/students, and faculty members who teach Clinical/Life-Sciences/Biotechnology students. Preference will be given to the candidates with an AYUSH background

Method of selection:
Selection will be considered based on the applicant’s research/professional background.
Selected candidates should send register by paying the registration fee of Rs. 4,000/ (Four Thousand Only).
The candidates should bring their own laptops with reasonable specs for computational analysis.
Participants will not be given any TA/DA. Limited accommodation is available in the hostel on a payment basis for candidates residing outside Bengaluru.
